Decorative Weaves

Decorative and textural weaves draw on eighteenth and nineteenth century sources, from the classic tradition of flamestitch and tapestry to the character of Southeast Asian ikat. Ottoman archives and braided textiles bring a further layer of influence, translated into banded stripes and small-scale figured motifs.

Contrasting yarns and space-dyed effects add texture and depth throughout, uniting the collection with a palette that feels both earthy and grounded.
